Lahore: Students are the future of our country and the future of our country depends upon the moral values imparted to them during their student life. Values are guiding principles or standards of behaviour that are desirable, important and held in high esteem by the particular society in which a person lives.

In line with this, the administration of JTC Senior Girls, took the initiative to inculcate moral values as a step towards students’ character-building. Mr Muzammil Mehmood holds talk sessions with students on a weekly basis. He has covered topics such as the respect and obedience of parents, honesty and the curse of backbiting, and the importance of having a good character. His sessions are very engaging and students ask thought-provoking questions at the end.

According to a Chinese proverb, "If there is righteousness in the heart, there will be beauty in character, if there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home, when there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation, when there is order in the nation there will be peace in the world".
