Lahore: The dean and faculty of Razia Hassan School of Architecture at Beaconhouse National University Lahore joined hands with Hope Uplift Foundation (HUF), a Lahore-based NGO to design their DHA campus for the benefit and facilitation of the underprivileged children.

Dr Gulzar Haider, dean of Razia Hassan School of Architecture, along with fellow faculty members including Haseeb Amjad, Zeeshan Sarwar, Ahsan Majid and Maham Zohair created the architectural design of the DHA campus, which is now under construction. Covering an area of 4 kanals donated by DHA, the school will be ready by May 2017. It will cater to the educational needs of 1,000 students from low income families.

HUF recently awarded Dr Gulzar Haider and his design team a shield for their contribution to the social cause. They extended their appreciation for their dedicated efforts and participation throughout the design process. The ideas behind the building were considered both novel and stimulating, and the organisation takes pride in divulging Dr Haider’s name as an architect with profound vision.

We like to congratulate everyone associated with this noble cause.
