Lahore: In collaboration with the English Department, Beaconhouse JTC Senior Boys organised an inter-section reading competition on April 27, 2017 between the students of Class IXC. The competition had two levels, level one was held within the class, wherein students were divided into groups of four. They were asked to present and recite material from four different genres of literature namely poetry, drama, prose and short story. From level one, the best speakers were selected to form a team that competed in level two. Level two was held in the school library where senior English teachers judged the students on the basis of their tone, fluency, presentation etc. Each team presented their respective section where the highest scoring team was declared the winner. Class IXC-Red scored the maximum points and were declared winners. The competition was a great learning experience for the students.
