Muscat: Early Years organised Junior Master Chef Competition for Kindergarteners on April 13, 2017. It was fun and exciting way of learning about the benefits of having a healthy diet. While kneading, tossing, pouring, smelling and cutting foods, students had fun and learnt without being aware of it. Nerves were high as the students presented their dishes to judges. They described their healthy snacks as mini fruit pizzas, vegetables train, healthy chicken burger, creamy fruit salad and fruit dessert. The judges offered emphatic praise, perceptive feedback, and asked thoughtful follow-up questions. Winners were selected on the basis of presentation, taste, effort and healthy selection of ingredients.
