Charity Bake Sale News Story

Lahore: A bake sale was organised to help raise funds for charitable purposes and to reiterate the philanthropic ethos that drives BDC. As part of our trademark synergy project, the bake sale at the Beaconhouse Defence Campus was arranged by our A Level students on October 4, 2017. The event was inaugurated by Academic Manager Ms Ambreen Ishaque and Principal Ms Semee Shafqat.

The A Level students used a plethora of sights, sound and colours to create a tantalising fiesta! A succulent array of biryani, mini burgers, brownies, cupcakes, jalebis, and succulent macaroons allured both students and faculty members alike. One of our more interactive stalls, ‘play and win’, involved both our students and our faculty members in attempting to put ping pong balls into the top of a cup pyramid in an attempt to win free food! Also, our fortune-telling stall was full of auguries and soothsayers. Gypsy fortune-tellers who came from the far corners of “Timbuktu” intrigued our students with their tarot cards and crystal balls.

Another stall that was a hit was the FIFA electronic games stall, where they showed incredible gaming prowess and fought it out with Messi, Neymar and Ibrahimivoc.

A huge thank you goes out to all of the students who baked the delicious goodies, organised and partook in this amazing bake sale!
