Karachi: Students of the social club at Beaconhouse Primary-III P.E.C.H.S visited the Anjuman Hayat-ul-Islam Orphanage on October 20, 2017, along with Ms Ramla Shams, Ms Sarwat Abbasi and Mr Waqas Hussain, as part of their project. They took eatables, gifts and souvenirs for the children living and studying there. Different indoor games and reading activities were also organised.

Anjuman Hayat-ul-Islam Orphanage in Karachi was established by Late Molana Hamid Ali Qureshi and other philanthropists in Delhi in 1932. The main objective of this establishment is to provide financial, medical and social assistance to poor and underprivileged children. The feedback was great; students were very enthusiastic in making new friends. This also inculcated a sense of responsibility in the students and the importance of charity and social work.
