Trip to Museum of Natural History News Story

Rawalpindi: Students of grade I till V were taken to the Pakistan Museum of Natural History on February 8, 2018. The museum has exhibits and galleries which display and provide information about the ecology, geology and palaeontology of the country. The students closely observed and learnt about the habitats of different animals, ecological cycles and a variety of gems, through visuals and audios. The students also posed in a cave depicting life inside a typical cave, saw a variety of preserved animals displayed in their natural habitat, a variety of fossil plants and animals, visited the gems gallery and the space and geology exhibits. They were particularly fascinated by the 42 feet long specimen of a whale shark and the huge whale fossils on display. The students visited the dinosaurs’ gallery, where motorised displays of dinosaurs were displayed. The students were also taken to Shakarparian, Islamabad, where they enjoyed their food and had fun playing with friends.
