Dubai: As Queen Elizabeth II celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of her ascension to the throne, our students at Palms Nursery joined the celebrations by donning Union Jack hats and dressing in red, white and blue. Classrooms were also adorned with these colours, creating a wonderfully vibrant scene.

A small picnic was shared by the children and our teachers brought special cupcakes, scones and tea cakes with the Union Jack on some of them. The children joined together to sing the UK's National Anthem, led by our Headmistress Ms Hazel. Games were organised by the teachers, who themselves were quiet dressed-up for the occasion.
