Lahore: Students at Beaconhouse Walton Lower Primary celebrated World Opposite Day by participating in fun filled activities. They started their day by discussing the reason for observing such a non-academic endeavor. It was unanimously decided that days like this make learning fun! Later, students asked each other silly and nonsensical questions and then reversed the answers to make one another laugh. They also wore their clothes on backward, walked backwards and said the opposite of what they actually meant. One student wrote a poem to mark this occasion.
Word Opposite Day!
We are opposites!
I'll tell you more!
I come in
And you go out!
I think it's cold
And you feel hot!
We are opposites
Let's give a shout!
