Lahore: Pakistan Day, also known as Resolution Day, is a day of pride for every resident of Pakistan. March 23, 1940, is considered as a major milestone for Muslims in the struggle for an independent state from Hindustan. Like every year, this year saw grand celebrations all around the campus. The day began with a discussion on the importance of March 23. Students were shown various videos of Quiad-e-Azam delivering speeches and the efforts of Muslims for their beloved homeland. Students of Class II came dressed as national figures of Pakistan such as Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. Students also shared the importance of Minar-e-Pakistan, its construction as well as the significance of its architecture. During the later half of the day, a singing gala was held in which students sang melodious patriotic songs.
