Graduation Ceremony - Batch of 2019 News Story

Islamabad: Beaconhouse Margalla Campus Islamabad, International Baccalaureate Diploma Program branch held its second graduation ceremony on April 10, 2019. The IBDP Batch of 2019 showed off their outfits as they walked the ramp, aggrandizing their hard work and determination.

The event started with recitation of the holy verses of Quran, followed by national anthem and certificate and medal distribution ceremony. Chief guests Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Mr Hamza Shafaqat and Executive Director Beaconhouse School System North Mr Nasir Kasuri distributed certificates and medals among the students. Teachers’ hard work and dedication was also acknowledged and they too were given certificate of appreciation.

In her welcome note, Principal BMI Ms Ayehsa Ansar elaborated upon the significance of rigorous IBDP program. She hailed the efforts of BMIIB Manager Ms Bushra Jamal for running the program effectively and successfully.

Talking to the parents and guests, Ms Jamal highlighted the journey of IBDP in Beacounhouse School System. The audience lauded the amazing qualities of all the students of batch of 2019 and untiring efforts of IBDP faculty members. Ms. Amna Baloch and Ms. Zunaira Malik mothers of 2019 graduates Hadiya Ali Khan and Zarah Malik respectively, appreciated the efforts of students, and support rendered by staff members of BMIIB. Chief guest Mr Hamza Shafaqat stressed on the students to develop positive attitude towards life and career and hence become leaders and valuable members of society. Mr Nasir Kasuri wished the students well for their future endeavors and highlighted the rigorous nature of IBDP in comparison to other intermediary programs.

Efforts by the junior staff of BMIIB branch were also acknowledged, as they were presented with gifts.

The ceremony was also attended by Cluster Director BSS Ms Safia Cassim, Headmistress BMI A Levels Ms Riffat Arif, officials and students from other branches at BMI and parents of Year 1 and 2 students. The program ended with refreshments for the guests and students.
