Mr Antonio Guterres,
I am a student of Beaconhouse School System, Pakistan. I want to bring a serious issue to your notice regarding the sad state of affairs in the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
On 5th August, 2019, the Indian armed forces in the occupied Kashmir imposed a curfew. Since then, people are not allowed to buy food, medicines and clothes. Their basic human rights are being denied by the Indian forces.
This issue has a deep rooted history. Our Kashmiri brothers and sisters are living in terror under this siege. The native men, women and children are killed, injured and abused. Being a young citizen with freedom of speech, I believe that all human beings deserve respect and dignity and should be treated without discrimination.
I would request the nations of the world to take necessary steps on humanitarian grounds and bring the Kashmiris out of this miserable condition.
