Kashmir Solidarity Day News Story

Peshawar: Kashmir Solidarity Day was dated by the government to be observed on 10th December 2019. The students of Beaconhouse Frontier Campus Peshawar (BFC-P, girls’ branch) did not lag behind. All the girls, from grade 6 to 11, came out in the ground sharp at 8 am for the special morning assembly.

The observance was initiated with the recitation of a few verses of the Holy Quran, followed by the translation. Students asked all the students some questions related to the cause of Kashmir. The pupils determinedly answered the questions. Students paid tribute to the Kashmiri people through short tableau, Kashmiri song, speech and poetry. They chanted slogans for the Freedom of Kashmir. It focuses on showing Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for Kashmir’s freedom.

BFC-P students commemorated the struggle by making a human chain to raise the voice of innocent Kashmiri people to the world. It was heartwarming to see that even the youngest segment of the Pakistani nation has the highest resolve.

Posters made by the students were displayed to show their love and support for Pakistan and Kashmir. Students held banners and wore headbands in favor of their Kashmiri brethren. They protested the illegal occupation and the violent atrocities being committed by the Indian forces.
