Lahore: Beaconhouse Walton Campus participated in the 16th International Kangaroo Linguistic Competition (IKLC) for the first time this year. IKLC is designed to prepare students for the future by promoting good communication skills.

Participating students were well versed and attempted the competition with a lot of confidence. Upper Primary students won 12 exceptional awards in the IKLC, along with the Principal, Ms Tehmina Lodhi winning the ‘Outstanding Leadership Award.’ The award for ‘Excellence in Coordinating’ was given to the School Coordinator, Ms Tabinda Rizwan.

Gold medals were won by Khadija Zaka, Saleha Salman and Shanaya Suri of Class 4. Mustafa Imran Bilal of Class 5 bagged the silver medal and Class 3 students Abeeha Ali Bukhari, Abeera Imran and Enaya Danyal won bronze medals.

Students of Beaconhouse Walton Campus also participated in the A2Z Champs competition. Relying on the principle that every child has a creative side, A2Z Champs competition promotes the creative abilities in students and encourages them to explore Art. Students participated in a poster making activity and were asked to express themselves on canvas without using any words. Aahil Alam of IV Yellow and Simra Sikandar of IV Blue won Gold Medals, Syed Mustafa Hassan of IV Blue won the Silver Medal and Fatima Arif of IV Blue won the Bronze Medal.
