Karachi: After almost a six-month hiatus, students are thrilled to return to school and resume on-campus learning. To ensure the safety of students in COVID-19 era, online orientation sessions were organised by Beaconhouse North Nazimabad for students and their parents to familiarize them with standard operating procedures (SOPs), steps taken to protect students and to prevent the spread of coronavirus in all sections of the school.

Online orientation sessions were conducted for parents to inform them about the school gate related instructions and the new process of meeting with school management.

Staff members have been trained to implement the exhaustive list of COVID-19 SOPs, including but not limited to: checking temperatures with the handheld digital thermometers, supervision of entry and exit points, corrective action for individuals violating SOPs, cleaning and disinfection of the floor, furniture, doors and windows.

Orientation sessions were held for both teaching faculty, and support staff members and contingency plans were briefed. Both students and parents responded positively to the policies, and a question-answer session followed the orientation, which helped develop clarity on the new set of guidelines.
