Annual Sports Day

Karachi: The Annual Sports Day at Beaconhouse North Nazimabad Primary-I took place in the school premises on Friday, March 31, 2017. The event commenced with a Hamd sung by the school choir. A number of fun races such as a relay race, hurdle race, three-legged race and formula race were arranged for the students. The most exciting competition for the students was a tug-of-war that took place amongst their class teachers. All the students participated enthusiastically and throughly enjoyed the event.

Early Years Sports Day

Bahawalpur: The young students of Early Years at Beaconhouse Bahawalpur had an exciting and fun time on the Early Years' Sports Day, held on March 17, 2017. The students arrived in their brightly coloured red, green, blue and yellow tracksuits, representing their houses. They were excited to exhibit some of the sports skills that they had practiced during the term. Students of Class II welcomed their schoolmates with a musical performance.

First up was the tricycle race, followed by a pom-pom, papa's shoes and lemon-spoon races. These races were great fun and the children performed brilliantly. Later on, there was a baskets and balls race in which the children collected balls on their way to the finish line. Students also played dodge-ball and ended the day with a cricket match in which the boys showcased their batting and bowling skills in an impressive manner. All students did an excellent job in displaying their improved sports skills. School Head Mr Naveed Razaak appreciated their performance and students were also very pleased with their efforts.

Inter House Sports Gala

Lahore: Beaconhouse Canal Side Boys Campus Middle School had an eventful day celebrating sportsman spirit and positive competition on March 2, 2017 as the Annual Inter-House Sports Gala 2017 took place. The displays included Taekwondo, Aerobics and Gymnastics along with a number of interesting and challenging races. Students and parents enjoyed a high-spirited, cheerful day of sports, energy, colour and glory. The winning house trophy was grabbed by Iqbal House.

Faisalabad: The Primary Section at BF Canal Campus was honoured to have Senior Headmistress Ms Sabahet Malik as their chief guest for the opening ceremony of Inter-House Tournament, which took place from March 13-17, 2017. Boys of Classes III, IV and V played football matches. Girls of Class IV played cricket while girls of Class V took part in basketball matches. Students also took part in an enthusiastic game of tug-of-war.

Faisalabad: The Middle block (boys) was honoured to have Senior Headmistress Ms Sabahat Malik as the chief guest for the opening ceremony of the Inter-house Cricket and Football tournaments. The matches were held from February 27 to March 3, 2017

Faisalabad: At BF Canal Campus Boys, intra-house cricket matches took place on March 20, 2017. Every house gave their best, but only one house rose above all. Jehangir House played with all their might as the excited crowd cheered their teams on. A nail-biting final few minutes had everyone on the edge of their seats, rendered speechless. As soon as team Jehangir emerged as the winners, the crowd burst into a deafening wave of cheers and applause, watching the winners celebrate their hard-fought victory. Well done boys!

Intra-House Football Matches

Faisalabad: At BF Canal Campus Boys, a great deal of sportsmanship was displayed by dynamic football players in the field on March 20, 2017. Every team was determined to bag the trophy. The grounds were filled with enthusiasm as every player gave their all in a breathtaking performance by both teams. An intense play carried the students all over the field, drawing energy from the eager crowd. In the end, Kasuri House came out as the winning team. Well done team Kasuri!

Intra Region O Level Cricket Tournament (Girls)

Rawalpindi: The Intra Region O Level Cricket Tournament (Girls) 2016-17 was hosted by BSTRG at the Pasban Cricket Stadium on February 1 and 2, 2017. Beaconhouse schools from the northern region showed true sportsmanship and enthusiasm by their active participation. The qualifying and quarter-final matches were played in the first round on February 1, 2017, followed by semi-final and final matches on February 2, 2017. Teams of JC, FC, BMI, and Potohar campus made their way to the semi-finals. After sending other teams packing, BMI and JC played the final match with their buoyant performance. Finally, BMI bagged the trophy and title of winning team. BSTRG Headmistress Samina Imran awarded shields and medals to the players in the closing ceremony.

Friendly Matches with CSGC

Rawalpindi: The air was filled with fun and excitement as CSBC and CSGC enjoyed a day of friendly competition on March 16, 2017. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful arena and hospitality of the campus. Every guest student got the chance to participate in at least one game including football, cricket, tug-of-war and 100m, three-legged and sack races. All winners were awarded gifts and all participants took away a souvenir to remember this wonderful event.

Annual Sports Carnival

Rawalpindi: The Annual Sports Carnival for the academic year 2016-2017 was held at BSTRP on March 17, 2017, showcasing the skill and dexterity of our talented students. It was a power-packed event where students showed their athletic abilities as well as a classic exhibit of martial arts, nunchucks, aerobics and gymnastics. The event was graced by ace Pakistani badminton player Ms Ayesha Akram as chief guest, with SGO-II Academic Head Mrs Rakhshanda Asad and SGO-II Sports Coordinator Ms Faiza Mehmood Mirza. A large number of parents attended the event to cheer on their talented children and to appreciate the hard work of the teachers and students.
