Abbottabad: Under the leadership of Ms Aaisha Awais, the much awaited Annual Sports Day titled "Future Olympians" was held on December 21, 2016. It was a day meant to inculcate and re-establish the importance of games and sports in a student's life. The theme of "Future Olympians", originating from the attribute of personal health and wellbeing, has the underlying aim of being aware and able to make conscious decisions about healthy living by being actively involved in physical activities, both inside and outside the school.

The fantastic turnout from the parents and the grand venue were the perfect platform for the students on their very first sports day at the Beaconhouse Abbottabad KG Campus. The four houses took part in a majestic procession, lead by house captains hoisting house flags in their respective thematic sweatshirts. The Early Years students took part in a class march past by dressing up as different characters. The students participated in a number of games and races, along with a P.T. and karate display. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of Classes I to V competed class-wise in events, including sprints, sack races, obstacle races and three-legged races. A fun chatty race between the teachers added to the enjoyment. The day ended with our guest Col. Kamran Banuri congratulating the winners with medals and certificates.
