Lahore: Beaconhouse Walton Campus Lahore enthusiastically celebrated International Women’s days. Students of Classes 3-5 prepared various performances to pay tribute to notable personalities, as well as women who devote their lives in raising families.

The girls dressed up as leading women, who have made tremendous contributions in shaping the Pakistani nation, such as Fatima Jinnah, Abida Parveen, Marium Mukhtiar, Arfa Karim Randhawa, Benazir Bhutto, Noor Jehan, Bilquis Edhi, amongst many others.

A small role-play was prepared by the boys, which beautifully portrayed the essential women in their lives and what an important role they play.

G.D. Anderson, an Australian activist and writer has wonderfully stated, ‘Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.’
