Selangor: The students of White Roses 2 enjoyed making paper boats that were named the 'oa' boats. The students had earlier learnt to identify the long vowel sound that the letters 'oa' represent and words which have the 'oa' sound. They were asked to write 'oa' on a piece of paper using crayons and repeat the sound while writing.

The teacher showed them the steps to fold a piece of paper into a boat. Through this activity, students memorised the 'oa' sound well and also felt accomplishment in making the boat.
