Karachi: Rida Akbar Baloch, a Class XI student at Beaconhouse Quetta Campus, has been awarded the Model UN Scholarship to attend The Cambridge Tradition – an extensive course offered by the Oxbridge Academic Programs.

Rida applied online and was selected on the basis of her excellent academic record, outstanding performance in the extracurricular, communication skills and leadership qualities. The scholarship will cover the total cost of the programme, including lodging and boarding. She will join the four-week long programme in July, along with other candidates from the US, Canada and elsewhere.

The Cambridge Tradition has been specially designed for Classes X to XII and is based at Cambridge University, England. It offers a diverse range of courses including Architecture, Criminology, English Literature, Photojournalism and Zoology, taught by world-renowned faculty members. The students enjoy a multitude of activities including cultural enrichment, guest speakers, adventurous field trips, creative workshops, sports and much more.
