Quetta: Global Dignity Day was celebrated with the usual flurry of activities at Juniper Campus. The purpose was to make students understand and value human dignity, self-respect and pride in oneself.

The series of events celebrating Dignity began on September 19 and continued till October 7. The activities included card and poster making competitions, essay writing, poetry writing and speech writing, but the activity that received the most enthusiastic response was the charity Bake Sale.

A lunch was also arranged for the junior staff by A Level and XI-C students. The final Dignity Day function was held on October 9, which featured an address by Principal Mrs Nargis Basheer. She also handed over charitable donations to the SOS Village on behalf of Juniper Campus. A short movie by the students depicting the true spirit of the day was also shown.
